I'm Mike. I've been making and running my own websites since the dial-up days — a coupon site that rode the early search era, fan sites that have been online since 2000, concert calendars, guitar gear pages. Some made real money, some were just for the love of it, and in 2026 I'm bringing the whole family back to life with modern tools.

About
A few facts for the record. I launched CouponsAndDeals.com in 1999 and ran it as a real business through the 2000s, the whole time playing in Evil Jake, my NYC rock band. The band was featured on MTV, NBC, and Bravo. Our posters appear in School of Rock, and Dewey Finn's apartment in that movie was modeled on mine; the trivia is on IMDb. The Yale Daily News wrote about the band in 2002, back when the coupon site was paying for the tours.
The fan sites here have been online since 2000, which makes them some of the longest-running fan sites on the web. The two concert calendars cover New York City and the Woodstock area show by show, kept current by hand. The day job is growth marketing strategy and advisory work, over at MikeJacobs.com. Everything on this page is built, owned, and run by me.
